Mission & values
DTI’s mission is to provide the international automotive industry with cost-effective, fuel saving and comfort-increasing drivetrain solutions. It does this by conceiving, developing and marketing disruptively innovative concepts. DTI’s concepts unite simplicity, uniqueness, use of proven components and a modular approach to existing powertrain systems in passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses.
The values that DTI stand for can be summarized as follows:
- We believe that disruptive fuel-saving solutions should be focussing on the car-types that are sold at highest numbers, usually the low- to medium priced cars;
- We value a bottom-up approach, that is cost-effective innovations for lower segment cars that can be easily scaled up to higher class cars;
- We only select product concepts for follow-up development if it makes proper sense to our specialists and engineers as they are our first “customers”;
- We believe in knowledge-driven technological innovations combined with a strong notion of the automotive market trends and globalisation therein;
- Our innovations focus on the values for the end-customer, the one that has to make the buying decision and drive the car in daily life.
