The company
Drivetrain Innovations BV (DTI) is a knowledge and concept center, developing cost-effective and fuel-saving transmission solutions. DTI employs highly educated and creative people covering the disciplines of design, construction, dynamics, simulation and control of the drivetrain. For realizing demonstrators, DTI operates in a network of prototyping and testing companies that supply custom made components to the DTI model shop.

All transmissions and drivetrain concepts conceived by DTI combine good performance with high fuel economy and low cost for the specific vehicle-class in which they are applied. While these aspects are normally compromised, DTI regards their unifications as the ultimate design challenge.

Disciplines
Work at DTI is multi-disciplinary by nature. Mechanical engineering and Control are the major disciplines in the company. Mechanical engineering requires a strong background in automotive engineering, transmission design, manufacturing and prototyping. For the Control engineers, the working ranges the area from system analysis and control architecture, simulation (a.o. Matlab Simulink), hardware plus electronics design and implementation, and vehicle / system calibration. For senior employees, the function can be extended towards either project management or lead engineering.

Working environment
You will be working in an enthusiastic and young team of specialists in the area of mechanical design, simulation, control design and testing of automotive transmissions and hybrid drivetrains. The projects are coordinated by a project leader who is open to new ideas while stimulating the progressive pace of the project.
